Who operates this website

The Moroccan Association of Mathematical Sciences (MAMS) operates this MOAI information website. Contact the organising team below with privacy questions or requests.

This notice covers the public website only, not the training platform or the separate MAMS registration form.

Reading the public pages

You can read these pages without an account or contact details. This website has no registration form or applicant database.

Your browser sends ordinary connection data, including your IP address, requested page and browser information, to deliver the website. Technical logs may be used for reliability and security.

Audience and performance measurement

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights only for audience and performance analysis to improve this website. Web Analytics measures page views, referring pages when available, approximate location, browser, operating system and device type. Vercel distinguishes visitors using a hash derived from requests and discards visitor sessions after 24 hours. Web Analytics does not use cookies.

Speed Insights measures loading, responsiveness and visual stability. Diagnostic data includes the page and route, network type, browser and device, country, relevant page-element selectors, timestamps and software versions.

We remove query parameters and fragments from measured page URLs. We send no custom events or form answers. These measurements are not used for advertising, session recording, individual profiling or selection decisions. Both tools remain off when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control; no additional preference cookie is stored.

Language and appearance preferences

These browser settings remember your choices. They are not used to track you across other websites.

Language cookie

NEXT_LOCALE remembers English or Arabic when needed. It is a session cookie; browser session restore can preserve it.

Appearance setting

The local-storage entry theme remembers light, dark or system until you change it or clear site data.

You can clear or block them in your browser settings. The pages remain readable, but your preferences may not be remembered.

Contacting the organising team

If you email us, the organising team and the email services involved handle your address, message and attachments to answer your enquiry.

Only include relevant information. Do not send identity documents or sensitive details without an explained need. Minors should ask a parent or guardian before sharing such information.

Registering interest with MAMS

Registration takes place on a separate MAMS page. This website does not receive or store your answers there.

Read that page’s privacy information before submitting your details. Its form and data handling are separate from this notice.

Retention and updates

Browser preferences follow the periods above. Retention for enquiries, technical logs and Vercel statistics is being confirmed; the 24-hour visitor-session limit is not a deletion period for aggregate reports. Vercel may process data outside Morocco.

This notice will be updated with confirmed retention and international-transfer arrangements and applicable CNDP references. It does not claim CNDP approval.

Your rights and how to contact us

Under Morocco’s Law No. 09-08, you may request access to and correction of personal data concerning you, and object to processing on legitimate grounds. Where processing is contrary to the law, you may request that the relevant data be corrected, erased or blocked.

Contact the organising team to make a request and identify the matter concerned, without attaching unnecessary personal documents. You may also contact the CNDP or use its complaint procedure.
